2 day Foundation Neurotoxin Injectables Course
The course is designed for Nurse Practitioners and also suitable for Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who wish to working under the supervision of a GP in an autonomous manner.
The aim is to ensure that clinicians perform aesthetic treatments in an informed and ethical manner. Our 2 day course includes enhanced practical experience.
Day 1 – Theory on Anti-Wrinkle Neurotoxins.
Understand the history of cosmetic injectables, the trends and evidence-based best practice in non-surgical cosmetic treatments today.
Anatomy of the face and the ageing process.
Consultation skills including managing client expectations.
What are treatable areas.
Indications and contraindications
Guidelines of storage and reconstitution of product
Injection techniques and dosages.
Management of complications.
Day 2 – Practical Day in Anti-Wrinkle Neurotoxins with live models.

As a boutique style training organisation we focus on personalised training with highly-skilled, experienced aesthetic trainers and small group sizes. During the course we include practical days focused on honing your injecting skills on live cosmetic models supplied by CPD Institute of Australia to ensure your confidence to practice independently upon completion of the course.
We do encourage you to bring along your own model (one) to assist you with your ongoing learning and follow up of treatment results and/or use this opportunity to have treatments yourself to enhance your learning experience.
Duration
The course is conducted over 2 days and qualifies for a total of 14 CPD hours.
After completion of 2 day Foundation Neurotoxin Injectables Course, your career and employment opportunities can include:
- Cosmetic aesthetic positions in a cosmetic clinic or medical practice.
- Set up your own business, for those who have a supporting doctor.
Further optional one-to-one clinical training is available through our Coaching Clinic sessions allowing you to consolidate your practical skills.
CPD Nurse Membership is an option available to Registered nurses who wish to work under the supervision of a doctor. Please discuss this membership option with CPD Institute of Australia management.
