Nicky is the founder and Director of the Cosmetic Professional Development Institute of Australia, Registered Training Organisation.

A registered nurse who graduated from Deakin University, her background in mental health nursing underpins and drives her values and attitudes in ensuring best practice and evidenced based practice, making patient advocacy and service delivery and outcome her priority.

Nicky is passionate about cosmetic aesthetics and regularly attends both national and international conferences to expand and update her knowledge, which she enthusiastically shares with her team of trainers and students.

Alicia Langan – Administration Manager

Alicia’s passion is helping Nicky and the CPD team deliver exceptional training in order for students to realise their full potential. Having supported Directors, Buying Executives, Chief Finance Officers and CEOs, along with extensive customer/RTO student support, Alicia’s steady presence and can-do attitude is an asset to CPD.

Alicia loves organisation, fine details and has an eagle eye. She combines these strengths with solid communication and unwavering commitment; ensuring CPD builds from strength to strength.

Shelley Durance – Clinical Manager

Shelley has worked in the health field for her whole career, it is in her blood and she can’t imagine working anywhere else. Shelley’s career has seen her work as a nurse, medical social worker, health educator, program manager in training others and in health administration. The one constant in a diverse career has been learning new skills and applying them in all sorts of work situations. She thrives on variety, engagement with others and has a particular interest in creating cohesive and happy teams.

Liz Chandler – Receptionist/ Administrator

Liz brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as Receptionist. She has worked in a variety of workplaces and industries including libraries, federal public service and training organisations. The first point of contact when you call or email, Liz will help you with all your enquiries; she is also the smiling face you see when you attend our Elsternwick training centre.

Marissa Lloyd

Marissa Lloyd

Marissa is a Registered Nurse Div.1, who studied at La Trobe University in Bundroora. Over 5 years, Marissa has gained a wide variety of experience in the acute care setting prior to deciding to explore cosmetic injecting.

Through CPD Institute, Marissa has found her passion in the Cosmetic industry. Her caring and enthusiastic approach enables her to design holistic treatment plans with clients, allowing her to achieve the best possible outcome.

Marissa views Cosmetic Injectables as an art form and thoroughly enjoys filler treatments such as lips, cheek fillers and a ‘liquid facelift’ to improve heaviness in the lower face.

Belinda Ebert-Block

Belinda is a Division 1 Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of clinical, educational and managerial experience to offer. Belinda’s strong perioperative background has provided her with a sound working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and pride in delivering the highest quality of hygiene and service.  Read More

Breakthroughs in skin care and anti-ageing treatments have ushered in a new era of medical-grade treatments to complement traditional beauty regimes. With her genuine interest in the aesthetics industry and keen eye for symmetry, it was a natural transition for Belinda. Having achieved a certification in Cosmetic Aesthetic Injectables from CPD institute of Australia, Belinda is now a business owner and works full time in this dynamic niche market, dividing her time between clinic hours and trainer at the CPD institute.

Never content to stop learning, Belinda continues to stay abreast of industry developments by attending courses and training with many of Australia’s leading Aesthetic experts.

Applying the care and dedication she has shown throughout her nursing career, Belinda has a holistic, knowledgeable approach to treating her client’s aesthetic concerns, and readily imparts her knowledge to her students and colleagues. Dr Rob Weiss

Robert is a medical graduate of University of Melbourne (1981) and works at Frankston Healthcare, a medical centre in Frankston, Victoria. He is a member of both RACGP Victorian Addiction Medicine Committee and National Faculty of Special Interest in Addiction Medicine, and is also a member of Expert Advisory Groups on Pharmacotherapy Reform.

Dr Chau Nguyen

Dr Nguyen was born and raised in Melbourne and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 (WA). She also completed a Post Graduate diploma in Surgical anatomy (Melbourne University) and is a Fellow in Radiology. Her background and detailed anatomy knowledge enables her to produce safe and reliable outcomes. Read More

Dr Nguyen is results driven and continues to learn new innovative procedures, techniques and introduces products that are TGA registered in Australia in order to ensure that the latest and advanced techniques are available at her clinic. Given her expertise she has no hesitation in offering her time and support to CPD and CPD members. She works closely with CPD to ensure that the curriculum is at a high standard and that people who complete the courses have the skills to succeed.

She is one of the first in Australia to perform Factor4 (next generation PRP) facelift by stimulating collagen using both cannula and direct injection techniques. Given her background she can also perform joint injections using Factor4 (PRP) to stimulate a healing reaction and reduce inflammation.

Dr Nguyen offers a high quality and detailed assessment of skin conditions. She regularly attends seminars and travels overseas to learn new techniques. Show Less

Ashleigh Robinson

Trainer, business owner and practitioner, Ashleigh studied cosmetic aesthetic injectables with CPD in 2013 and has gone on to establish her own successful Geelong cosmetic clinic, “Tox Bar” offering a range of cosmetic injectables and non-surgical procedures and beauty treatments. Ashleigh is highly passionate and talented injector and business owner, approaching each client as an individual, mapping out treatment plans based on the client’s needs and expectations.

Mishelle Pemba

Mishelle Pemba

Mishelle Pemba has been working in the beauty industry for 26 years, completing a Diploma in Health Sciences (Beauty Therapy) in 1991. She worked in many aspects of the industry including department store cosmetics counters, beauty salons, managing a beauty room in a pharmacy, before going on to practise in the paramedical field as an assistant to a dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon for several years. 

Mishelle’s interest in training and education led her to undertake a Certificate IV in TAE (Training and Assessment) in 2005. Since then she has worked as a trainer and educator in the TAFE system as well as the private sector. Mishelle completed the Post-Graduate Vocational Certificate in Laser and IPL Hair Reduction in 2011 and now specialises in Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments for hair reduction and skin rejuvenation, as well as other advanced treatment modalities.

Mishelle has a passion for quality education and enjoys sharing her skills, knowledge and experience with others, and making education easy and fun. Show Less

Jessica Maggs

Jessica Maggs

Jessica is a highly trained Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner with over six years of facial rejuvenation experience, who shares her industry knowledge with CPD graduates and students.

Jessica initially trained as a Registered Nurse and, after a career in general nursing where she developed significant experience in cardiac care, she made a career change as a Sales Executive representing a range of high value cardiac imaging equipment. It was during this time that she completed her MBA. 

After her children were settled in school, Jessica embarked on a life-long ambition to undertake the extensive training in order to become a cosmetic injecting nurse. This was a decision from which she has have never looked back.

Jessica completed her Masters of Nurse Practitioner 2013 and has since qualified to practice as a Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner, one of a growing small community of aesthetic health professionals. This qualification expands her domain of practice and empowers her to prescribe these medicines common to cosmetic treatments and refer her clients when appropriate to other practitioners for further treatment. This channel has paved the way for greater satisfaction and challenges to meet.

She finds immense fulfilment in restoring her client’s confidence where their appearance has held them back.  She loves the endless challenges of completely understanding people’s faces and applying just the right combination of artistry, technique and product to bring about a natural and refreshed appearance; and we are fortunate that she assists in our training. Anita Turner

Anita has been a registered nurse since 2000. She has always had a special interest in Women’s health, beginning her career at Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital, and later going on to study Sexual Health Nursing and Pap test provision. In addition, Anita has worked in Emergency Nursing, Practice Nursing and Community Nursing. Anita has lent her knowledge and experience to organisations such as the Bush Fire Recovery Fund and multiple regional health planning groups. From 2001 to 2003 Anita held a board position on the Australian Broadcasting Advisory Board helping to guide policy and direction of the ABC. Read More

In 2013 Anita devised a new model of care for the delivery of laser services, and opened two clinics structured around this model. Under Anita’s direction, Gippsland Cosmetic Laser Clinic has won numerous awards and accolades, including three regional business awards, and named finalists in the 2016 Telstra Australian Business Awards, and the 2016 My Face My Body Awards for Best Aesthetic Practice in Victoria.

Seeking to undertake the highest level of training in cosmetic injectables, Anita undertook the CPD course in early 2015 and has since incorporated cosmetic injectables into the clinic’s model of care.
