Advanced Skin Science Workshop – 2 day

If you want to become an all-encompassing cosmetic injector adding advanced skin science  knowledge and skills to your repertoire will allow you to have advanced knowledge when working with your clients and addressing their questions and concerns.

• Skin anatomy and classification.
• Skin analysis, consultation and recommending skin care.
• Skin concerns including ageing, pigmentation, acne.
• Theory and hands on practical training in medical grade chemical peels.
• Skin needling devices and how to perform the treatments.
• Primary facials.

By including these treatments in your practice, you are able to offer clients a larger range of skin rejuvenation treatments to benefit their over-all beauty regime.

Skin Needling

A minimally invasive skin penetrative procedure which uses a device containing fine needles for the purpose of puncturing the skin to create a controlled skin injury. This triggers the body to rebuild these micro wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the dermis. Our Skin Needling Workshop provides both a theoretical understanding and practical experience in needling and the use of roller kits and skin needling pens.

Medical Grade Chemical Peels

These are designed to resurface the skin and work by breaking down the top layer of dead skin cells, therefore smoothing away fine lines, hyperpigmentation and improving the overall appearance and condition of the skin.  Our workshop discusses the varying levels of product intensity and includes practical application.

Primary Facials

Our workshop discusses skin issues, treatment plans and includes practical application. Facials

are designed to relax, cleanse and exfoliate the skin, therefore allowing improved penetration of skin care products and increased blood flow resulting in brighter, clearer skin. 

Graduates will receive a certificate on completion and will be able to immediately apply skills and techniques learnt.

Duration

The course is conducted over 2 days and qualifies for a total of 12 CPD hours.
