    Pre-Treatment

As a model participant in our training courses for health professionals, you’ll benefit from treatments at significantly reduced rates compared to standard clinic prices. Once you sign up and join our model community, you’ll receive detailed information on pricing and other benefits.

    New Models:
Please request a model information pack, and a member of our team will reach out to guide you through the process.

    Existing Models:
Simply sign in to your account and select your desired treatments. To secure your preferred appointment, models must book online or over the phone with a $50 deposit. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of your treatment. You also have the option to pay the full amount upfront using a debit or credit card, or via your PayPal account.

On the day of your appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork and assessments. Injections will be administered only by our AHPRA registered medical professional students, who are closely supervised by our expert trainers.
After your treatment, you’ll receive a patient aftercare leaflet with important information. If you have any questions afterward, our clinical team is available to assist you. We can also arrange a follow-up review appointment if needed. All after-hours contact details will be provided in your model information booklet and again on the day of your treatment.

Before your treatment, please let us know if there have been any changes since your last visit, including:
    • Any new medical conditions
    • Current use of antibiotics
    • New medications you’ve started
    • Plans to travel overseas
    • Upcoming dental visits or ongoing dental treatments
    • Recent dental visits where you required antibiotics
    • Use of blood thinners
    • Any lifestyle changes
It’s important to share this information with your practitioner before your treatment, as these factors can affect the outcome.

    Recommended Post-Treatment Care

Please take a moment to read and fully understand all the information included in this post-care guide.

    • Stay Upright: Remain upright for at least 4 hours after your treatment.
    • Avoid Rubbing: Do not rub or massage the treated area for 48 hours. Gentle washing or makeup application is fine.
    • Exercise Caution: Refrain from vigorous exercise, heavy lifting, or straining for the next 48 hours.
    • Avoid Heat: Keep the treated area away from direct heat sources.
    • Skip Certain Supplements: Avoid anti-inflammatories, fish oils, and blood-thinning herbal supplements like ginkgo, green tea, and St. John’s Wort, as they can increase bruising risk. Paracetamol is fine if needed.
    • No Facials: Avoid facials, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments for 14 days.
    • Monitor Bumps: You may notice small bumps or marks in the treated area, which should resolve within a few hours. Avoid pressure on the area, such as from headbands or sun visors, for the first few days.
It can take up to 14 days for the full effects of the treatment to become apparent. If you experience increasing redness, tenderness, pain, or fever, please contact our clinicians immediately or use the After-Hours number provided in your Model Information Guide.

    • Keep The Area Clean: Keep the treated area clean and free of makeup immediately after your treatment. Bruising is common; however, if you notice bruising in untreated areas of your face or experience any pain, please contact our clinicians or use the After-Hours contact number.
    • Managing Swelling: If you experience swelling or redness, you can use a cold compress to help manage it. If you have pain related to inflammation in the treated area or any untreated areas of your face, reach out to our clinicians or After-Hours number right away.
    • Avoid Certain Activities: For 48 hours, avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and extreme temperatures, such as saunas, spas, or swimming in heated pools. If your treatment was in the cheeks, avoid resting eyewear on that area.
    • Reduce Bruising: To help alleviate bruising, apply ice packs for 10 minutes at a time, 3-4 times a day, as long as it feels comfortable. Continue until swelling decreases. You can also apply Arnica cream gently to the treated area, available at your local pharmacy. While paracetamol is fine to take, avoid anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, as they may increase the risk of bruising.
    • Sunscreen and Makeup: You can gently apply sunscreen and makeup a few hours after treatment and wash the area gently.
If you experience increasing redness, tenderness, fever, cold sores, or worsening pain, please contact our clinicians or the After-Hours number in your Model Information Guide immediately.

Swelling and tenderness may occur for 24-48 hours after your treatment. Sleeping with your head elevated can help.
Touching Your Face: Please avoid touching your face for at least two hours to allow the injection sites to heal and reduce the risk of infection. If you must touch your face, do so only with clean hands.
Gentle Massage: For the first three days post-treatment, gently massage the injection areas with a neutral cream. Arnica cream can help reduce bruising, but please avoid icing the area, as extreme temperatures can affect platelet function.
Activity Restrictions: For 48 hours, refrain from rigorous exercise, extreme heat and cold, and excessive alcohol consumption.
If you have any concerns, notice increasing redness, tenderness, or pain, please reach out to our clinicians or use the After-Hours number provided in your Model Information Guide immediately.

Makeup: Please refrain from wearing makeup for 12-24 hours following your skin needling treatment.
Moisturizers and Lotions: For the first 3-5 days, avoid moisturizers or lotions with active ingredients such as retinol, glycolic acids, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating granules, perfumes, and colors. You may use a basic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated, and cool compresses can be applied as needed.
Activity Restrictions: Avoid vigorous exercise, pools, hot tubs, and hot showers for 48 hours post-treatment. Your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight, so please limit sun exposure or wear a hat and sunscreen. Additionally, avoid self-tanning lotions for two weeks after your treatment.
Skin Care: You may experience slight crusting or scabbing; to prevent scarring, do not rub or pick at the skin.
If you have any concerns or experience any issues, please contact our clinicians or use the After-Hours number provided in your Model Information Guide immediately.
