A registered nurse with a degree from Deakin University, Nicky’s clinical background in mental health nursing strongly influences her values, which prioritize evidence-based practice, patient advocacy, and exceptional service delivery. Her passion for cosmetic aesthetics drives her commitment to ensuring safe, effective, and innovative treatments that continuously improve patient outcomes.

Nicky is also a dedicated lifelong learner, attending both national and international conferences to expand her knowledge and maintain her position at the forefront of the industry. She champions continual education and believes in the power of professional growth, a philosophy that is central to the CPD Institute’s mission. Roberta Honigman is an accredited mental health social worker with an interest in body image disturbance. She has worked over many years in close consultation with plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other cosmetic practitioners providing pre and post-operative patient screening assessment and counselling. Roberta is currently attached to the plastic surgery and laser dermatology clinics at the RCH in Melbourne as well as in private practice.

She has published widely on body image disturbance in connection with patients seeking cosmetic surgery and dermatological procedures in national and international journals and has contributed to scientific meetings and media discussions. She has undertaken a comprehensive review of the cosmetic practice industry in Victoria and was also a member of the Australian Health Minister Advisory Council committee tasked with identifying and reviewing the adequacy of consumer safeguards in relation to advertising, marketing, and standards of practice in cosmetic medical and surgical practice.

Dr Nguyen was born and raised in Melbourne and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 (WA). She also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (Melbourne University) and is a Fellow in Radiology. Her background and detailed anatomy knowledge enables her to produce safe and reliable outcomes.

Dr Nguyen is results driven and continues to learn new innovative procedures, techniques and introduces products that are TGA registered in Australia in order to ensure that the latest and advanced techniques are available at her clinic. Given her expertise she has no hesitation in offering her time and support to CPD Institute and its members. She works closely with CPD Institute to ensure that the curriculum is at a high standard and that people who complete the courses have the skills to succeed. She is one of the first in Australia to perform Factor4 (next generation PRP) facelift by stimulating collagen using both cannula and direct injection techniques. Given her background she can also perform joint injections using Factor4 (PRP) to stimulate a healing reaction and reduce inflammation. Dr Nguyen offers a high quality and detailed assessment of skin conditions. She regularly attends seminars and travels overseas to learn new techniques.
