We have had an increase in enquiries about pathways to becoming a nurse practitioner in the cosmetic aesthetic field. In general, most university providers will ask that you have completed a post-graduate qualification and have supporting supervisors and mentors throughout your course.
AHPRA will also require you to meet a variety of hurdles, one being that you need to complete a minimum of 5000 hours of advanced practice in your area of practice. We strongly recommend that you review all the information and courses available as they are not necessarily a direct pathway to becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Here at CPD Institute of Australia, we offer a variety of courses to assist you with the knowledge and practical application that will advance your skills and practice as an advanced practitioner in the specialty of cosmetic nursing. It is important that you complete your own due diligence as every university has different entry requirements.
For all of your advanced practice and professional development requirements pertaining to this pathway and NP qualification, we are here to support you.
